I have a passion for all things old, for times gone by and for the memories that these items of the past rekindle.
I have always been a crafter of some sort and have always been a collector and gatherer.
I am forever picking up bits and pieces that might come in handy one day to “make” something, a trait I have inherited from my wonderful Dad who was the ultimate gatherer, gardener and recycler.
I have sold all of these makings under the name of Enchanted Things for over 12 years now mainly doing local craft markets, and now on my own website.

We have an old home and have made our own patch of country in suburbia where you can find an array of animals from rabbits, guinea pigs to chooks, seasonal vegetable beds (again from my Dad), flowers, and all the “old stuff,” I bring home from the country auctions that I love to go to with my sister. We both love the "old style" of decorating our homes probably because of our Nana's beautiful old house and all of the bits and pieces we loved and remember from her.
I have an ever growing collection of bits of furniture and the like; vintage china and collectables, and old rusted garden paraphernalia.
I cant describe the feeling of coming home from a long day at a great sale, with a car full up to bursting of “ just old stuff.” I find it hard to resist anything “rusty, crusty, old and musty”........

I have three gorgeous young children and I count myself very lucky to have been able to pursue my love of making primitive style wares while being at home with them.
As I sit outside in the garden and sew, listening to them laugh and play right there with me, I know there is no where else I would rather be.
