Nana`s House This section of vintage wares for sale is a tribute to my nana. Our beautiful nana`s name was “Jean Sarah “ and all of my family loved her very, very much……..” Her house was an old bungalow, with the verandah and complete with separate “wash house” out the back and I always loved the smell of nana’s house. It had rooms full of flower covered carpets, shiny smooth dark furniture and beautiful china and knick knacks. I never tired of looking at all her "things", her toaster with the sides that flipped down, the funny little sink in the kitchen, her canisters all lined up along the mantle, the ducks that flew along her dining room wall and her precious ornaments. The crystal bowl that held her curlers on the sideboard, the little pots that held clips and odd buttons and her matching brush and mirror set on her dressing table……all the things that stay in your mind and bring back the most special memories.
